I made this as jump point for another sound for a foley project for a movie. This was made using a number of chain dog leashes and my mxl mic along with an echo chamber affect in my sound editing software.

Just a short sound effect that i made for hovering over a button. If you're curious, i made this by quickly opening a pair of scissors right next to a mic then amplifying that sound a few times.

Let me set the scene for this audio because i am a nerd. . . Burbank, california. A large apartment/condominium complex with an open courtyard and a beautiful swimming pool and hot tub. I'm done in the hot tub and walking up 3 flights of stairs to my apartment. Squeak. . . Squeak. . . Squeak. . . Sure to sound either intimidating or goofy. Depends on your show!. That was originally a boring industrial water heating system furnace. So i fooled around with audio effects to give that result that sounds like one of those old low budget science fiction movies or even some cartoons. It can be used in many type of stuff, it's up to your imagination.

I was recording some ak foley with an airsoft gun i had when i accidentally dropped it. The sound it made turned out so good that i ended up using it for this. A simple sound of an egg shell cracking. It was actually made by taking an index card and smashing it twice between my palms, putting them together, mixing and editing in audacity. Not very super realistic, but sounds good if it's flying and hits something.
Recording of pc boot up. Recorder is placed near hdd. For the first portion of sound i recorded electronic cat repelent and glass, and then speed it up. Everything is mixed together and this is the result.
